1. Ownership

All original stories, series, episodes, articles, artwork, audio narration, video, and site content published on LoreBurst — including but not limited to every series in our fiction catalog and every episode of iRunReality — is the property of LoreBurst, a Grant Corporation company, except where explicitly licensed from a third party (for example, background music tracks used under a Creative Commons license, which are credited where used).

Copyright in an original creative work exists automatically the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form (written, recorded, or rendered) — no registration is required for that baseline protection to apply, under both U.S. law and the Berne Convention internationally.

A note on AI-assisted production: LoreBurst's content pipeline uses AI tools as part of the creative process (drafting assistance, narration, and image generation), directed and edited by human creators who select, arrange, revise, and approve every published piece. U.S. Copyright Office guidance treats copyrightability as turning on the human creative contribution to a work — the human-authored selection, arrangement, and editorial judgment behind our published catalog is what the copyright claim rests on, not the output of any single AI generation step in isolation.

2. Formal Registration

Automatic copyright protection applies to our original works from creation. Formal registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is a separate, optional step that strengthens enforcement (it's a prerequisite to filing an infringement lawsuit in the U.S., and unlocks statutory damages and attorney's fees). Selected flagship titles are being prepared for formal registration; this page will be updated as filings are completed.

3. Reporting Infringement of Our Content

If you find LoreBurst or iRunReality content — text, narration, video, or artwork — reproduced elsewhere without permission, please let us know so we can pursue a takedown:

Please include the URL of our original content and the URL(s) where you found the unauthorized copy.

4. Reporting a Claim Against Our Content

If you believe content on LoreBurst infringes your copyright, contact us at the same channels above with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed, (2) the URL of the material on LoreBurst you believe is infringing, and (3) your contact information. We take these claims seriously and will investigate and respond promptly.

5. Licensed Third-Party Material

Background music and sound design used in iRunReality episodes may include tracks licensed under Creative Commons (including CC0 public-domain-equivalent tracks) sourced from Freesound.org and similar libraries. Use of such material does not transfer any LoreBurst copyright to the underlying licensed asset, and does not diminish LoreBurst's copyright in the episode as a whole creative work.
