This Policy explains how LoreBurst, operated by Grant Corporation, handles information when you browse loreburst.com, create an account, read or listen, contact support, or purchase Premium.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, password hash, account preferences, verification status, and optional profile information.
• Subscription information: plan, subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, and transaction metadata. Stripe processes card details; LoreBurst does not receive or store your complete card number or security code.
• Reading and usage information: pages visited, series and episodes opened, reading progress, feature interactions, referral data, and approximate device/browser information.
• Support information: messages and details you submit through contact or billing-support forms.
• Security information: IP address, timestamps, authentication activity, and audit events used to detect abuse and protect accounts.

2. How we use information

• Provide accounts, reading access, audio, progress, and Premium benefits.
• Process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing support.
• Send verification, password-reset, account, and transaction communications.
• Measure site performance and improve discovery, stories, and reader experience.
• Prevent fraud, enforce access controls, investigate misuse, and comply with law.
• Respond to questions and support requests.

3. Cookies, analytics, and local storage

LoreBurst uses browser storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember reader settings, preserve progress, and prevent duplicate analytics events. Google Analytics 4 helps us understand aggregated traffic and conversion activity. You can restrict cookies or clear stored data through your browser, but some account and reader functions may stop working.

4. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to providers that help operate LoreBurst, including Stripe for payments, email-delivery providers, hosting and security providers, and analytics services; to comply with legal obligations; to protect rights and safety; or as part of a business transfer. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and operate under their own privacy terms.

5. Data retention

We retain account and subscription records while an account is active and as needed for support, security, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Reading and analytics records may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form. Retention periods vary by the type of record and operational need.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, password hashing, authenticated access controls, rate limiting, signed payment webhooks, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

7. Your choices and rights

You may update account details, cancel Premium, and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by contacting us. California residents may also request information about collection, use, disclosure, correction, or deletion and may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment. Certain records may be retained when legally or operationally required.

8. Children's privacy

LoreBurst is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 provided information so we can investigate and remove it when appropriate.

9. External links and media

Stories may link to sources, videos, or other third-party services. Their collection practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy.

We may update this Policy as LoreBurst changes. The revision date above shows the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or account email.
