Story Structure
Our platform is built around serialized episodic fiction. Here's what that looks like.
- 📏Episode length: 1,500–5,000 words per episode. Aim for satisfying, self-contained chapters that still leave the reader hungry for more.
- 🗂️Season structure: A minimum of 6 episodes per season. We recommend 10–12 for a complete arc. Tell us your planned episode count upfront.
- ⏰Release consistency: You must commit to a publishing schedule. Weekly is ideal. Dropped or abandoned series will be removed from the platform.
- ✍️Writing quality: Proofread your work. We don't require professional editing, but basic grammar and storytelling clarity are expected. We'll provide feedback if needed.
- 🎨Cover art: Series require a banner image and a poster image. We can assist with cover generation for qualifying creators.
- 🔤Titles & slugs: Keep series titles clean and memorable. No keyword-stuffing or SEO tricks in titles.
How to Get Your Story Published
We review all submissions personally. Here's the process from pitch to published.
Pitch Your Concept
Send us your series title, genre, a 2–3 sentence logline, and your planned episode structure via our contact page or DM @GrantMediaNet on X. No full manuscript required at this stage.
Submit Your First Episode
If your concept is greenlit, submit your first episode for review. We evaluate story quality, voice, and readability. We'll respond within 7 business days with feedback or approval.
Series Setup
Once approved, we'll create your series page, collect your cover art (or help generate it), write a series description, and assign genre tags. We handle the technical setup — you focus on writing.
Go Live & Publish
Your series launches on the platform. We'll promote it across our social channels including @GrantMediaNet. Keep publishing on schedule to maintain placement in featured sections.
Grow Your Readership
Engage with the community, respond to readers in our Community Hub, and build your audience. Top-performing series get featured on the homepage.
Your Story, Your IP
We believe creators should own their work. Here's how rights work on GMN.
- 🔐You own your story. Publishing on Grant Media Network does not transfer copyright. Your intellectual property remains yours.
- 📢Platform license. By publishing here, you grant GMN a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute your episodes on this platform and our social channels.
- 🚪You can leave. If you choose to remove your series, contact us. We'll delist it within 30 days. Previously published episodes in reader libraries may be retained.
- 💰Monetization (coming soon). We are building out creator revenue sharing for premium content. Early creators will have priority access when this launches.
Platform Conduct
Creators are part of the GMN community. These rules apply everywhere on the platform.
- 💬Be respectful in community forums, comments, and direct messages. Harassment of readers or fellow creators will result in immediate removal.
- 🚫Do not artificially inflate your series stats (fake reviews, bot engagement, purchased followers). Violations result in permanent ban.
- 📣You may promote your series on your personal social channels — in fact, we encourage it. Just don't spam other creators' audiences.
- ⚠️If you see a violation of these guidelines by another creator, report it via the contact page. We take all reports seriously.
